JANET SWENSON'S RCWP INQUIRY PROJECT

Premise from which I'm beginning:
I believe that *often* students who are invited to write in order to address problems, issues, interests or concerns about which they have deep feelings (maybe even a passion), they will demonstrate greater engagement. I further believe that high levels of engagement open the door for more instruction (whether from the teacher, one another, self-sponsored, or from a community or distant mentor).
